How to take a screen shot

Using your keyboard, you can press the Print Screen (sometimes labelled as "PRTSCR") button, which is usually located near the top right of your keyboard.

When you press the Print Screen button, nothing will let you know on screen, but you have just taken a copy of what is on your screen.

You will then need to paste this in an email, or a Microsoft Word document by pressing Control ("CTRL") and "V" or right mouse clicking and selecting Paste.

Other programs are available to take a screen shot of your working desktop, however the above method is the simplest if you do not have any screen capturing software.
