How to activate on Windows 7 as Administrator
Windows 7 offers enchanced secutiry over Windows Vista and Windows XP. however, this does cause some issues when activating applications.
Applications require administrative privileges to activate. Usually, right-clicking on the application and selecting "Run As Administrator" is usually enough. However, in certain instances this is not the case and we need to set the administrator user.
To do this, follow the steps below:
- Click the Start Menu
- Type CMD to find the CMD.exe program

- Once open you will see a new black window.
- In the new black window, type all of the the following:
- net user administrator /active:yes
- NOTE: You do not need to have U:\, you can have C:\users\xyz, just type the command after the right arrow (>)

- The press the return/enter key to run the command.
- Once this command has been run, you should receive a confirmation prompt:

- The command completed successfully
- Once this has been completed, follwo the ususal activation steps:
- Click the link below.
