Founded by our managing director Garry Thompson in 1990, to solve a problem that a vast number of business organisations have on a day-to-day basis i.e. an over complicated disjointed business management operating system that is inhibiting  their profitability and growth.

As a UK based software development house, we specialise in Business Management software, such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) suites and Accounting.

“BusinessMan” is the name of our original business management system, and it included all of the core modules a business needs to seamlessly manage the diverse business processes that a business needs to be efficient, productive and above all exceptionally profitable…

A huge part of our mission, is to continuously enhance BME, to meet the needs of companies who need something special, that is not covered by “Off the Shelf” (OTS) software.

In recognition of this performance, Computech were the proud recipients of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise Export in 2017. The Directors attended a reception in Buckingham Palace, in the company of Queen Elizabeth and other members of the royal family, to celebrate this honour.

Business Manager Enterprise (BME), is the successor to our original BusinessMan product.

BME has been built to utilise state-of-the-art web technologies, with the direct input our customers to genuinely make the system both user friendly and 100% fit for purpose in an ever developing digitally advanced world.

BME allows users to work from anywhere, using any device that supports a modern web browser such as PC, laptop, tablet and mobile devices.  Your business can, quite literally be run from anywhere, where you have access to the internet.

The scope of the BME system is truly phenomenal, from an initial customer enquiry to the end of a complex product or service sale, everything can be processed within BME, your supply chain and warehouse storage, manufacturing processes and management of third part logistics (TPL), are all taken care of, all in one package.

BME is also fully customisable.

We specialise in working with companies who have unique requirements, and particularly where customers are rapidly expanding and need a more extensive integrated solution to meet their growing demands, but at the same time, do not want the costs associated with many of the more main stream products.

Through the qualification process of learning as much as we can about how your business works, we often identify issues that are not on the surface obvious, and work out elegant solutions to solve those challenges.

BME has an ambitious roadmap of continuous feature enhancement, which will benefit all existing and future users.

Our customised options are included in one single code base, so there is only ever one code base which needs to be updated. Yes, there could be many independent installations of BME, if the customer using the system decided to host it themselves, which is something we uniquely offer as an option for those who want to purchase their system outright.
